We're looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team in the Barossa Valley.
The role involves breakdown work, proactive and seasonal maintenance, and supporting a wide range of equipment across Tarac sites.
You'll work closely with operators, electricians and engineers, and you'll have solid "in-house" support around you.

About the Role
You'll help maintain the mechanical integrity of our plant and equipment through inspections, performance checks, repairs and upgrades.
The role also includes entering maintenance feedback, managing stock levels and assisting with new equipment or installations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out proactive and seasonal maintenance tasks, including inspections and performance checks.
Respond to breakdowns and repair or replace failed mechanical components.
Report mechanical failures and suggest improvements to reduce repeat issues.
Assist with troubleshooting and identifying problems with new or unfamiliar equipment.
Manage and restock maintenance inventory as needed.
Work collaboratively with operators, electricians and engineers.
What You'll Bring
A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Trade qualifications (Certificate III Mechanical Engineering or similar).
Experience in breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Previous experience in hazardous areas (advantageous).
Experience across a variety of industrial equipment; wine or food industry experience is a bonus.
Confined space, forklift, boom lift, FEL, electrical B-Class or boiler qualifications are highly regarded.
Knowledge or experience with steam and condensate, heat exchangers, hydraulics or pneumatics is an advantage.
TIG welding skills will be beneficial.
Experience with forklift and loader maintenance will be viewed favourably.
