Analyst/ Senior Analyst - Investment & Planning

The Role

The Analyst/Senior Analyst - Investment & Planning plays a key role in guiding infrastructure investment decisions across our Storage and Handling network. This role blends strong commercial assessment and modelling with the ability to streamline complex issues, connect stakeholders and drive alignment, enabling prioritised, insight‐led decision making and capability uplift across Network Planning and the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

* Develop and embed best‐practice processes, tools and templates, leveraging external insights to build internal capability and support consistent delivery of the Investment Plan
* Lead strategic reviews of Zones, Areas and Sites, delivering clear recommendations aligned to the Group's long‐term expansion, enhancement and sustaining capital programs
* Partner with Area Managers, Operations Senior Leaders, Maintenance Superintendents and Terminal Managers to identify, assess and unlock high‐value opportunities
* Draft and maintain the Group's Strategic Plan, ensuring disciplined capital deployment through long‐term network thinking, effective project prioritisation and value engineering
* Undertake end‐to‐end strategic and commercial assessments for complex projects, including financial analysis, valuation and risk assessment

About You:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related discipline
* Proven experience within either professional services, corporate strategy & planning, management consulting, Infrastructure advisory or investment banking environment
* Previous experience planning and evaluating projects including modelling, preparing business cases and presenting findings and recommendations
* Strong ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Knowledge of agriculture and / or alternate bulk commodities businesses (desirable)
