**How will I Help?**
Your role sits within BT's Chief Product Office with responsibility for defining the BT data strategy and owning the analytics, reporting and insights functions. This role is essential for setting the vision for BT's data strategy, working closely with BT management to agree key analytic principals to drive business insights.
**Core accountabilities**:
**Data Owner** : Act as a Divisional Data Delegate to lead the execution of the data management and governance activities as per the Enterprise Data Risk Management Framework and implement measures to maintain data quality, safeguard proper storage and usage of data.
- Oversees the team that develops and maintains the highest levels of data competency, accuracy standards and reporting capacity.
- Develops strategy for leveraging data to gain a deeper insight into products, customers and their and accounts for migration across and within brand domains.
- builds a vision on how data and metrics can support the project's strategy and migration execution team operations.
- Champions and promotes best practices in data management for the full term of the data life cycle.
- works closely with Westpac Group's Risk, Compliance and Security teams to ensure the strictest standards of PII protection and data security in all aspects of data management and reporting.
**Strategy** : Design and implementation of the data strategy for BT (alignment with technology roadmap and input into the BT's broader strategy to drive key decision making, analytics to drive content and thought leadership as well as the use of AI modelling and leveraging group data capabilities.
**Analytics and Insights** : Accountable for BT analytics function, driving best in class data and insights to support decision making in the business and executive teams. Quant analytics and modelling to support BT's pooled cash
**Financial Management** : Ownership of the team budget and delivery
**Risk Management** : Manage risk, conduct and compliance in accordance with frameworks and policies and applicable laws and regulations: including issues management, control environment, regulatory relationships (APRA, ASIC), customer complaints, staff issues, litigation, product and services lifecycle policy
**Board Engagement** : Fulfilling duties as delegated by the Board.
**Ownership** : data assets, technology support of data assets.

- Improve risk culture and governance; deliver on core risk deliverables
- Ensure effective and efficient uplift in governance and implementation of Platforms risk management framework to ensure compliance with license obligations and reduce operational risks.
- Effectively manage key relationships (internal and external).
