About the Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in the repair, modification, and manufacture of plant equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical fitting for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to plant and equipment.
* Operate Turning Lathes, Milling Machines, grinders, and other precision tools.
* Manufacture or repair components as required.
* Undertake preventative maintenance tasks.
* Complete all required documentation accurately.
* Work safely and maintain a clean environment.
* Assist other trades and departments when needed.
* Comply with PCC Ethics Code of Conduct and all Quality & Safety Rules.
Skills & Experience
* Certificate IV in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting) or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years practical experience in mechanical fitting.
* Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
* Forklift License (mandatory); EWP (advantageous).
* Ability to work independently and carry out mechanical/weld repairs.
