Lead early intervention mental health care for young people
Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Senior Psychologist (HP4) within the headspace In-Reach Program in this permanent full-time role based at Logan Central Mental Health Centre. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychology services to young people aged 12–25, supporting early intervention, complex mental health care and integrated treatment alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Your New Role
In this role you will provide advanced psychology services within the headspace In-Reach Program, supporting young people with complex mental health needs while contributing to service development and clinical leadership.
* Deliver psychological assessment, intervention and care planning
* Manage a complex caseload within a multidisciplinary youth mental health team
* Provide clinical supervision, guidance and support to junior clinicians
* Facilitate individual therapy, co-therapy and therapeutic group programs
* Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and research activities
About You
You are an experienced psychologist with strong clinical expertise and a passion for improving mental health outcomes for young people through early intervention and collaborative care.
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with APAC-accredited qualifications
* Demonstrated experience managing complex mental health presentations
* Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary clinical team
* Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior clinicians
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
