Global Trade Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Specialist to join our team of international logistics professionals.
As a key member of our import/export operations, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end activities, preparing trade documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with global partners.
* Manage import/export bookings, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
* Prepare and maintain accurate trade documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates.
* Ensure strict compliance with Australian and international regulations for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, OTC products, and consumables.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in International Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Commerce or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum 3 years experience in import/export operations – ideally within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare or related regulated industries.
* Solid knowledge of customs procedures, HS classification, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
Main Responsibilities and Challenges
1. You will play a critical role in resolving shipment or compliance issues by collaborating with global suppliers, distributors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
2. Your expertise in classifying products using correct HS codes will ensure seamless trade operations.
3. By maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulations, you will help us uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance in our import/export activities.
