Job Title:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to provide mechanical support across ammonia and TAN plants. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled individual to make a real difference in our operations.
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, supervising contractor personnel, and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns;
* Conduct repairs and modifications to mechanical equipment as required;
* Supervise contractor personnel on site to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently;
* Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and extend asset life;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant engineering qualification (e.g. Diploma or Bachelor's degree) and at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. You will also need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Commitment to safety standards is essential.
