Position Overview
The Hospitality Worker will support the daily operations of the café, delivering high standards of customer service, food handling, and hygiene while complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Providing professional, courteous, and efficient customer service in a café environment
* Taking customer orders, operating POS systems, and handling cash and electronic payments
* Preparing, serving, and presenting food and beverages in accordance with menu and service standards
* Assisting with basic food preparation, plating, and service coordination
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, service counters, and workstations
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements at all times
* Assisting with stock handling, storage, rotation, and inventory control
* Supporting opening, closing, and daily operational procedures
* Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in the hospitality industry
* Certificate III or higher in Hospitality (or equivalent qualification)
* Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Salary and Conditions
* Annual salary between AUD $72,000 and $75,000 + superannuation
* Salary is aligned with market rates and regional hospitality standards
* Full-time, ongoing position (38 hours per week)
Visa and Sponsorship Information
Suitably qualified and deserving candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship under the South Australian Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) – subclass 494 visa, subject to eligibility criteria and approvals.
