Department Head - Delicatessen
This is a key leadership role within our business, responsible for the overall performance of the deli department.
About the Role:
* The Department Head - Delicatessen will be responsible for leading a team of deli staff to achieve sales targets, control costs and maintain high standards of customer service.
* You will have full accountability for the day-to-day running of the deli department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
About You:
* You will have previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, with direct or indirect leadership experience.
* You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, coach and develop your team.
* You will be able to maintain excellent department standards, including monitoring stock, rotation routines, waste and quality control.
* You will have the ability to simplify processes and adhere to strict audit, food safety and compliance standards.
