***About the role**
You will have end to end accountability for managing the Financial Crime Prevention & Detection Service, within our Technology division. This includes developing and managing the technology strategy and target state for the service, leading a team of technologists, performance management against target metrics, delivery management and engagement across various business and technical stakeholders.
You will get the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, mentor and develop others, partner with numerous 3rd party vendors to enable our organisation to effectively perform critical Financial Crimes and Risk functions ultimately protecting our customers.
You will be accountable for successful delivery and implementation of various initiatives; a combination of transformation, BAU and/or compliance, all to meet business needs and realise benefits while fostering a high performing and collaborative team environment.
In this role you will get to:
- Ensure the Service operates effectively with the right capability. Developing, mentoring and leading the people within the Service team, uplifting overall engineering and automation capability.
- Collaborate and manage cross-Practice and Service dependencies for successful business outcomes.
- Develop and present the Service strategy and deliverables of the Service to all key stakeholders, gaining support for our drive to modernise and simplify.
- Demonstrate effective and appropriate Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release Management according to Technology and Group standards.
**About you**
You will have extensive technical and business understanding of Financial Crimes and Risk systems and functions. Proven experience leading technical teams. Knowledge and experience with NetReveal would be an advantage.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- The ability to think both technically and strategically about how we can modernise and uplift in an ambiguous environment.
- You'll be an excellent communicator with good influencing and negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience engaging senior technology and business stakeholders, partners and vendors.
- A proven track record of successfully implementing major initiatives using Agile methodologies.
- Proven project delivery experience with the ability to drive change in a high-tech, high energy and dynamic development environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
