We are seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join TechnologyOne as a Test Analyst, supporting our Property & Rating team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our solution, enabling local governments to better connect with their communities, customers, and property processes.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Experience with Local Government processes and applications.
* In-depth understanding of Rates Revenue processes.
* Familiarity with Property Processing workflows and systems.
What you'll be doing…
* Develop and execute persona-based test cases aligned with agile requirements, ensuring new features meet expected outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and create effective, fit-for-purpose test cases.
* Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, user acceptance, and regression testing, simulating real-world scenarios to ensure quality and performance.
* Support test planning, create risk-based strategies, and develop automated tests to enhance efficiency.
* Stay updated on customer processes to design relevant test cases and ensure end-to-end integration testing.
* Log, verify, and manage defects, adhering to test frameworks and leveraging tools to improve test management, automation, and reporting.
* Drive process improvements, contribute to forums, and support delivery within agreed timelines and standards.
* Experience delivering end-to-end testing activities for software/applications - experience with Local Government applications is mandatory.
* Knowledge of industry best-practice testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
* Good time management skills; able to proactively prioritise and switch between tasks.
* Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate in writing and verbally with stakeholders.
* Understanding of security and privacy of software.
* Experience with Test Management and Automated Testing tools.
* Experience managing data sets for testing.
* Working in an Agile work environment.
