**Team Leader Organisational Development**

**About the role**:
The OD team is a project focussed team, responsible for the continuous development of our workforce culture and capability programs. Working closely with senior leaders and the Human Resources Team, the OD team will identify opportunities for improvement which are aligned with our Workforce Plan, and will develop leadership capability programs, team culture development programs and employee engagement initiatives to support capability improvements across our workforce.
The Team Leader OD is a hands on role, responsible for being involved in the delivery of projects, but also providing guidance and leadership to the OD team. Critical to the success of this role is time spent building strong relationships with the Human Resources team in particular, but also with other people leaders to gain acceptance for OD projects and programs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Partnering with Human Resources to identify initiatives and opportunities to develop programs that build and develop leadership and people capabilities.
- Management of ongoing organisational 'people projects'
- Delivery of OD functions including:
- Develop and deliver People and Culture projects and workforce plan outcomes
- Delivering 'Welcome Day' and maintaining a contemporary employee onboarding program
- Maintaining a performance measurement and talent development pathway (currently MyPlan)
- Delivering 'Town Hall' and other organisational culture sessions and events
- Creating an environment where all members of the OD team can achieve success, through and the provision of strong and supportive leadership
- Analysing and reviewing the impact of programs, projects and initiatives to enable continuous improvement
**About the Person**:
In addition, the Team Leader OD will also require:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as; Human Resources, Business, or Project Management _(highly desirable)_
- Accreditations in professional styles assessments (i.e., Saville Wave), DiSC, remuneration structures (i.e., Mercer) or other workforce related frameworks _(desirable)_
- Demonstrated experience in managing workplace change projects, including the ability to take a concept, create a scope, plan timelines and resource requirements, and deliver tangible results _(essential)_
- Comprehensive understanding of HR and L&D processes, policies, trends and emerging concepts _(essential)_
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels and areas of the organisation _(essential)_
- Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others to achieve common goals _(essential)_
- Proven ability to analyse operational systems and process to support continuous improvement and drive innovation _(essential)_
