Overtime on offer Our client is a leading engineering company, is looking for a Trade Assistant at their workshop in Regency Park and Wingfield, South Australia. Join a team that values innovation, quality, and collaboration.
This is your opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions make a difference. Immediate Start: Start your new role right away! Competitive Pay: Earn between $37.00 to $40.00+ per hour plus penalties, with higher rates available for Trade Qualified candidates.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, with overtime and Saturday shifts available. THE ROLE: In this hands-on role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in manufacturing high-quality engineering structural elements. From preparation to assembly, your work will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist tradespeople with fabrication or fitting, assembly, and installation tasks. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Organise and prepare materials for the manufacturing process. Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Maintain quality control and adhere to safety standards.
Keep the work space clean and organised. Minimum requirements: Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or as a Trade Assistant (Fitter or Fabrication).
A valid driver's license and reliable transport. Confidence in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and understand technical plans and drawings.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Physical fitness and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
