As a key member of our catering team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by providing them with nutritious and appetising meals. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the kitchen section, including training, leading and inspiring the kitchen team to ensure a highly-skilled, well-organised and motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all aspects of the kitchen section, including training, leading and inspiring the kitchen team to ensure a highly-skilled, well-organised and motivated team.

* Ensure food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established, monitored and maintained to meet current food safety guidelines.
">
* Delivery of food is executed in a timely manner.
">
* Undertake ordering of stock for all kitchen areas needs, ensuring orders across sections are condensed to reduce excessive stock, and par stock levels are maintained.
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* At least 1-2 years experience as a cook/chef in a residential aged care setting.
">
* Hold and maintain NDIS workers check (or willing to obtain).
">
* Completed Food Safety Supervisor Course.
">
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal).
">
* Qualification in hospitality desirable.
