Hospitality Services Officer - Killara Galde Care Community
A General Services Officer (GSO) plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents within an aged‐care facility. The position supports daily operations across cleaning, laundry, and food services. GSOs contribute directly to resident wellbeing by ensuring high standards of hygiene, comfort, and service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including floors, surfaces, and public areas.
* Assist with laundry operations, ensuring clothing and linens are properly cleaned, sorted, and stored.
* Support catering and food service teams in preparing and delivering meals to residents.
* Monitor hygiene standards and report any safety concerns.
* Provide hospitality and assistance to residents, staff, and visitors.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
