Manufacturing Maintenance Fitter
This role is responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery by fitting and assembling metal parts. Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance activities in accordance with designated schedules, performing mechanical breakdown maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with site Health and Safety policies.
Key Accountabilities:
* Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance goals are met.
* Undertaking all work in compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
* Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance activities.
* Repairing mechanical parts and equipment as required.
* Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
The successful applicant will possess relevant trade qualifications and experience in a manufacturing environment, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate autonomously.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Fitter or Mechanical Trade Qualifications.
* 3 years of proven maintenance trade experience.
* Knowledge and/or experience in a food manufacturing environment.
* Ability to operate autonomously and with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem-solving and communications skills.
