About The Position
As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with consumers to identify their support needs, goals and develop collaborative care plans. You will provide high quality biopsychosocial assessment, care coordination and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 referred to headspace.
This position is based across our headspace Shellharbour and Kiama hubs, full-time and part-time hours available. Applicants may express an interest in working 3 days in Kiama, 2 days in Shellharbour or both. This role is fixed term until 30 June 2026 with possibility for extension.

We Are Looking For Someone With
Current Provisional Psychologist registration with AHPRA (or eligible for immediate registration) Completion of 5th year tertiary qualification in psychologyDemonstrated ability to engage with young people and their families, friends or carers to undertake assessment and screening to determine care needsExperience in the provision of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies
