Hooper Accountants currently have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant to join our Toowoomba Team on a full-time or part-time basis.
At Hooper Accountants, you'll work alongside a passionate and experienced team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to a diverse range of clients, from established businesses to emerging clients. In this pivotal role, you'll provide bookkeeping services to help business owners enjoy their business.
Key responsibilities
* Weekly/Monthly Bookkeeping for a range of client entity types
* Payroll processing and STP reporting
* Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
* Preparation of BAS and IAS for all entity types
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
* Liaising with the ATO
* Managing ASIC corporate compliance
* Helping to identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues
About you
* Previous experience in a bookkeeping role
* Knowledge of Xero, or similar accounting software
* Experience with ASIC corporate compliance
* High degree of professionalism, including confidentiality and discretion
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
