About the Role
The EHSQ team plays a vital part in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of our operations. As an ESHQ Manager, you will be responsible for implementing Environmental, Safety, Health, & Responsible Care programs, procedures, work practices, and controls at our site.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement all Environmental, Safety, Health, & Responsible Care programs, procedures, work practices, and controls at the Maitland site.
* Lead initiatives between Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Corporate to ensure compliance and conformance to Company policies and management systems.
* Develop and manage programs to ensure adherence to proven and standardized procedures, policies, and rules by all assigned team members, visitors, & customers.
* Main point of contact for EHS regulatory bodies, e.g. MOL and MOEEC.
* Maintain and develop necessary standards to ensure security, health and safety of personnel, visitors, and contractors on site.
* Manage and perform Safety audits and efficiency testing, identifying deficiencies in work procedures and safe work behaviors.
* Train and coach personnel through critical documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices, and adverse event/near miss reporting & investigation.
* Establish, track, and monitor progress toward site and department goals.
* Collaborate with Management Team to ensure continual improvement and compliance.
Key Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Environmental, Safety, Health, & Quality (EHSQ) management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing effective EHSQ programs, procedures, and controls, and will be well-versed in relevant regulations and industry standards. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
