Position Description
* Assessment and therapy for paediatric clients 0-18yrs (opportunities to work with adults or specific age groups is available upon discussion).
* Delivery of session in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and our clinic room.
* Potential for outreach day trips to rural towns if desired.
* Building and maintenance of professional relationships with key stakeholders, referral networks, families and educators.
* Clinical documentation and reporting for NDIS, Medicare and Private paying clients.
* Participation in community events e.g group therapy, information and educational seminars, and presentations at kindergartens and playgroups.
* Participation in weekly supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, team based learning and external professional development which is funded by the company.
Position Requirements
* A New Graduate or experienced clinician
* Holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, a current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership, Blue Card, professional indemnity insurance and drivers license (don't worry, we will supply you with a car)
* Has experience or is wanting to learn more about orofacial myology, feeding and speech sound disorders.
* Enjoys playing games with children and making therapy fun
* Is driven and eager to grow and learn. Is approachable and wanting to empower clients and their loved ones.
* Reliable and has excellent interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with their team of OT's, Speechies, AHA's and administration.
* Enjoys working both independently and with a team.
