Job Summary
This role involves delivering exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
The successful candidate will support patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures at various healthcare facilities.
About The Role
* Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing medical imaging examinations.
* Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations, including IV cannulation.
* Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography.
* Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
* Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
* Closely collaborate with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
* Promote a safe working environment by adhering to occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
Key Requirements
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant professional body.
* Qualification in IV Cannulation.
* Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
* Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
* Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management abilities.
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
