Exciting opportunity for AI Archiect role with Education Client.
We are seeking an experienced ML/AI Engineer
with a proven track record of building and deploying production LLM systems. The role involves end-to-end ownership of architecture, coding, and deployment, with a strong focus on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and enterprise-grade compliance.
6 months extendable contract

Key Responsibilities
* Select and optimize models, design RAG strategies, and balance cost/performance trade-offs.
* Build robust data pipelines for ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and generation.
* Design multi-step agentic workflows with tool integration (MCP-compatible).
* Implement both automated and manual evaluation frameworks.
* Configure guardrails, PII filters, and enterprise security controls.
* Deploy containerized solutions with monitoring and observability.
* Produce clear documentation for system handover and continuity
What you'll need to succeed
Required Skills & Experience
* Production LLM systems:
At least one shipped, enterprise-scale deployment
- Programming & infra:
- Python, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, serverless (ECS, Lambda).
- LLM orchestration:
LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- RAG implementation:
Vector databases (pgvector, OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS).
- Cloud AI services:
AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) and/or Azure (OpenAI, Azure ML).
- Evaluation frameworks:
Promptfoo, Ragas, or custom-built solutions.
- Security & compliance:
KMS, VPC, private endpoints, OIDC, enterprise compliance.
- Model tuning:
Fine-tuning with LoRA/PEFT.
- Retrieval optimization:
Hybrid approaches (BM25 + dense re-ranking).
- MLOps tooling:
Databricks and modern ML lifecycle management.
