As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, your role is to ensure the safe execution of maintenance and refurbishment of all electrical and instrumental equipment. This involves responding to breakdown situations in a timely manner to minimize production losses and initiating updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining instrumentation and a well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of large-scale refinery equipment. They should also be familiar with electro pneumatic control valves and positioners, variable speed drives, PLC and DCS systems, and motor control circuits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumental equipment
* Respond to breakdown situations and initiate repairs
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
* WA 'A' electrical license
* Electrical Trade certified with unrestricted electrical license
* High Voltage Switching Ticket
* Cert IV in Hazardous Areas
* Certificate IV in Instrumentation
* High Risk Work License - Elevated Work Platform, Forklift
