About the Position
As a Principal Engineer specializing in substations, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering critical substation infrastructure that underpins the transmission network. You'll lead complex substation designs, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards while managing project delivery. You'll also mentor and inspire emerging engineers and contribute to the power business holistically. Qualifications
* Strong fundamentals in substation engineering.
* Experience designing high‐voltage substation networks.
* Proficiency in software tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or similar platforms.
* Experience managing design teams and coaching emerging engineers.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with local and international teams.
* Track record of delivering successful project outcomes.
* Consultancy experience is advantageous.
* Leadership role in networking to grow substation portfolio.
