This is a full-time, permanent role working on projects statewide.
Prior railway experience is not required — full training will be provided for applicants with proven excavator skills.
This role is ideal for experienced civil operators wanting to expand into the rail industry.What You'll DoOperate excavators for rail construction and maintenance activities.Assist with hi-rail plant operations as required.Work closely with supervisors and crew members to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality procedures.Support teamwork and contribute to a positive site culture.Qualifications & RequirementsWHS Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Minimum 3 years' experience operating excavators.Current driver's licence and reliable transport.Solid commitment to safety, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.Previous rail industry experience.Machine Operator Tickets and/or VOCs.MR Truck Licence (or willingness to obtain).
