Overview
We are seeking a suitably experienced Bar Attendant to become an integral part of our friendly, busy Public & Sports Bar in Woombye (Sunshine Coast).
This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the bar, understands gaming operations, and is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. While this position will commence as a Bar Attendant, we are specifically looking for someone with the experience and capability to progress into a leadership role and lead the bar team over time.
Combination of days, nights, and weekends. Secure, ongoing employment in a long-established local venue.
Experience & competencies required
* Bar service (current RSA required)
* TAB operations (TAB compliance training)
* Gaming (RSG)
* Working in a busy public or sports bar workplace
Please note: This role is not suitable for applicants who hold an RSA only with no prior bar or gaming experience.
Leadership potential
* Experience supervising, training, or mentoring staff is highly regarded.
* Confidence supporting the bar team during busy trade.
* Willingness to step into a leadership role as skills and experience are demonstrated.
Candidates will be assessed at application and interview based on their: Demonstrated competencies across bar and gaming operations and readiness to progress into a leadership position. Appointment level and future progression will be determined based on experience and capability.
