Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by :
Providing individual and group counselling sessions to address a broad spectrum of psychosocial issues, including mental health, eating disorders, domestic violence.
Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths, and developing personalized treatment plans.
Offering immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
The position is 9-5 (negotiable), 3 days per week, preferably Tues, Thurs and Fri.

Let's talk about you
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling AOD, or a related field.
Experience : A minimum of 3years in a counselling or Psychologistwork role, preferably working with diverse populations facing various psychosocial issues.
Demonstrated experience in providing group-based treatment.
Current registration with a professional body (e.g., ACA, PACFA, APHRA or equivalent).
Experience providing group counselling and working in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) support
