Job Title: Workday HCM Functional Architect

The Workday Functional Architect serves as a strategic leader, providing expert guidance and delivery for functional area engagements. They work closely with Engagement Managers, Managers, functional area leads, and senior client resources to ensure a robust and complete solution that meets the clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide functional leadership on multiple, concurrent Workday implementations across all functional areas (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Performance, Recruiting and Learning).
* Oversee functional area Architect Workshops and Client Confirmation Sessions, ensuring efficient and accurate design and configuration of the delivered solution.
* Act as a sounding board and provide ad-hoc advice for EM and leads and serve as an advocate and escalation point for the EM and functional team.
* Mentor junior project resources by providing guidance allowing them to learn new skills and functional areas.


Duties & Tasks:

* Attend regular Workday calls for product areas.
* Partner with Engagement Manager (EM) and Portfolio Director (PD) to drive team and individuals to achieve high client satisfaction levels.
* Ensure that issues and risks are being discussed openly with the appropriate people.
* Conduct internal QA process.
