Your New Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller. this role will work closely with the site General Manager and site operations team in managing the site finances and providing critical solutions to site issues by driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvement. The role will have a mixture of accounting and business partnering. You will lead one direct report and also be involved in strengthening BI and visual analytics tools for the business.
The core tasks aligned to this position will include; but not limited too:
Managing full P&L; statement for the site
Improve the performance of the site by providing senior leaders and stakeholders with contemporary financial management advice and solutions to support decision making
Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs, providing financial analysis of monthly results and business performance.
KPI and Sales analysis and reporting
Drive cost-saving initiatives through analysing costs of raw materials, labour, assets and finished goods
About you
You will preferably be a CA qualified accountant with top-tiered chartered firm experience and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Will hold a recognised professional Accounting qualification (CPA or CA)
5 years experience in a similar role
Has strong business partnering and relationship building skills with excellent written and verbal communication
Experience with SAP (or similar) ERP system / Experience with BI tools
Expert on MS Excel (Macros/VBA's/PowerQueries):
Has an eye for detail and can provide detailed analysis and in depth reporting to accurately capture what is happening on the ground.
