We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial financial accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Job Description:
* Review and complete Balance Sheet reconciliations, addressing discrepancies (including sales, inventory, costs, and various balance sheet accounts).
* Prepare financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
* Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting and management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting and tax accounting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions in the new system balance sheet are accurately recorded and validated. This will involve reviewing and completing Balance Sheet reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring that all necessary write-ups/downs are made.
Key Requirements:
* Degree qualified with CPA/CA accreditation.
* Extensive commercial financial accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing.
* Experience with Bill of Materials and/or inventory accounting is highly regarded.
* Proficiency in articulating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Great Plains is highly regarded.
