The company has significant growth plans for the next 2-5 years, and this hire is crucial to their success. They are seeking an entrepreneurial, driven, and results-oriented VP of Sales to lead efforts in expanding their award-winning virtual learning platform across Eastern Australia and New Zealand. The role is predominantly focused on new business development, including strategy development, prospecting, and securing new partnerships with leading organizations, engaging with key decision-makers such as Directors of Sustainability, Supply Chain, and Procurement in the built environment and related sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B new business sales, employing a consultative, value-led sales approach. They should possess a strong understanding of sustainability topics within the built environment, infrastructure, or similar sectors, with demonstrable experience managing the entire sales process—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals in the region of USD 30,000-50,000. Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and the capacity to present complex situations clearly and convincingly to senior stakeholders are essential.
