As a PT Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of post-tensioned concrete systems across a variety of structural projects. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers, builders, and consultants to ensure accurate, practical, and well-coordinated PT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare PT slab and beam designs in line with relevant Australian Standards.
* Review architectural and structural documentation and collaborate with project engineers, builders, and consultants.
* Produce PT shop drawings and technical documentation, working alongside a small offshore engineering team.
* Provide design clarifications, respond to RFIs, and support construction teams throughout project delivery.
* Attend occasional stakeholder design meetings, presenting and coordinating design requirements with structural engineers.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Strong understanding of concrete behaviour and post-tensioned design principles.
* Proficiency with PT design software such as RAPT, RAM Concept, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
* Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage workload and deadlines independently.
What's on Offer
* Full-time position based in Sydney
* Competitive salary package depending on experience.
* A supportive environment with the autonomy to manage your own work.
* Flexibility and long-term career development as the project pipeline grows.
