About our client
Our client is a North Queensland based earthworks contractor delivering reliable excavation, site preparation, and land clearing services. They have recently taken on additional projects and are looking for an experienced diesel fitter to join their team.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of mobile plant equipment in a field-based environment.
* Conduct preventative maintenance across CAT machinery and Kenworth prime movers
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently
* Carry out repairs and servicing to minimise downtime
* Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards
What You Will Need:
* Relevant Diesel Fitter trade qualification
* White Card
* Demonstrated post-trade experience
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Valid drivers licence and reliable transport
