This role will allow you to grow and develop within WSP's Bridges, Aviation and Roads team, where you'll work alongside talented professionals on iconic projects that drive future‐ready solutions benefiting both clients and communities.
What You'll Do
Join our dynamic Queensland team as a Civil Drafter or Senior Civil Drafter and contribute to a variety of exciting civil and infrastructure projects. You will:
1. Prepare, manage, and issue drawings for complex engineering projects.
2. Check drawing sets for complex engineering projects.
3. Liaise with designers and project team engineers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs.
4. Plan and manage own work and others to meet deadlines and budgets.
5. Mentor individuals within drafting team.
6. Actively participate in knowledge sharing and learning opportunities including a focus on emerging technologies and Digital Engineering.
7. Assist in the development of new and existing engineering software, tools and best practice procedures.
This is a hybrid role based at our Sunshine Coast office. Full- or part-time options are available. Open to a range of experience levels, including early career, intermediate and senior professional.
About You
8. Experienced Civil Technician (Drafter): whether you're early on in your career or bring years of experience, we'd love to hear from you.
9. Associate Degree of Civil Engineering qualification, or similar.
10. TMR Roads and Highways experience.
11. Proficient operator of AutoCAD.
12. Working knowledge of ProjectWise is preferable.
13. Works well in a busy and at times pressured environment.
14. Excellent communication skills - including written and spoken.
