About the role
Nic Design Studio is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join our Adelaide-based studio. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting architecture / interior projects, with a strong focus on construction documentation, including working drawings.
You will work closely with architects and interior designers to deliver well-coordinated and accurate documentation across residential and commercial projects.
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 3 years of local Australian experience as an Architectural Draftsperson
2. Strong proficiency in Revit (essential), with experience in other Autodesk software and D5 Render considered an advantage
3. Proven experience delivering architecture / interior documentation, including working drawings
4. Good understanding of Australian documentation standards and workflows, including the NCC and relevant Australian Standards (AS)
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
6. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative studio environment
7. Australian Work rights are required for this position
What you'll be doing
* Producing architecture / interior documentation across project stages, with a strong focus on construction documentation, including working drawings
* Preparing drawings and documentation to a high technical standard
* Assisting with planning and building approval documentation
* Coordinating documentation with consultants and resolving technical and constructability-related issues
* Maintaining documentation quality, accuracy, and consistency across projects
