Lead Enterprise ERP Projects That Actually Matter
Aptus Business Solutions is growing, and we're looking for a Senior Sage X3 Consultant who can lead end-to-end ERP implementations across Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
This is not a support desk role.
This is not a "just configure the software" role.
We are looking for a true consultant who can walk into a client workshop, understand how a business operates, design practical solutions, lead discovery sessions, build implementation blueprints, manage stakeholders, and drive projects through to successful go‐live.
You'll join a highly experienced ERP consultancy delivering Sage X3 projects for mid-market and enterprise businesses across Australia.
Because we're a smaller, agile team, this role offers genuine influence, autonomy, and leadership opportunities. We need someone who can own projects, mentor others, and become a key part of the future growth of our Sage X3 practice.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading end-to-end Sage X3 implementations
* Running discovery and solution design workshops
* Mapping client business processes and identifying improvements
* Designing ERP solutions across Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing
* Building functional specifications, blueprints, and scope documentation
* Managing implementation delivery through to go‐live
* Conducting stakeholder workshops with operational teams and executives
* Supporting testing, training, and change management activities
* Working closely with technical consultants and developers
* Assisting with project planning, estimation, and implementation strategy
* Acting as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
* Proven capability across Finance, Distribution / Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
* Experience running discovery workshops and gathering requirements
* Ability to build implementation blueprints and solution documentation
* Experience managing ERP implementations from discovery to go‐live
* Strong client‐facing consulting and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and lead projects
Highly Regarded
* Experience in food manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or complex supply chain environments
* SQL/reporting knowledge
* Presales or solution architecture experience
* Experience mentoring junior consultants
