Job Title: Safety and Compliance Specialist

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily business activities, providing administrative support for Warehouse and Transport departments, and coordinating office management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols and programs
\
2. Coordinate WHS training sessions and ensure employee awareness of safety practices and compliance
\
3. Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up
\
4. Maintain WHS records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
\
5. Support performance reviews, training programs, and employee development activities
\
6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of current systems and implement changes
\
7. Provide administrative support for Warehouse and Transport departments, ensuring effective and efficient processes
\
8. Coordinate maintenance requests, maintain registers and data entry requirements
\
9. Assist with reporting and data entry for operational projects and improvements
\
10. Coordinate office management, including facilities, supplies, and general maintenance
\
11. Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
\
12. Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture
\
13. Assist in administering employee policies and procedures
\
14. Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
\
15. Support the efficient operation of the company by managing a diverse range of administrative tasks related to operations, workplace health and safety (WHS), and people & culture
\
16. Coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with WHS regulations
\
17. Develop and deliver safety training programs
\
18. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and investigations
\
19. Maintain knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and compliance frameworks
\
20. Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the WHS monitor system
\
