Accounting Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our remote team. As an accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Preparing end-of-year financial statements and tax returns for businesses.
* Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), TPAR and FBT returns.
* Assisting with tax planning and advisory work.
* Managing client relationships and delivering timely, accurate advice.
About You
You will bring solid technical grounding and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. This role requires:
* 3+ years' experience in Australian public practice.
* Confidence in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS.
* Exposure to Xero and ideally some bookkeeping experience.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workflow.
* Experience using Karbon is an advantage.
