Job Description
Project Management:
1. Manage the implementation of the IFS Solution suite throughout the entire project lifecycle
2. Manage project scope, customer expectations and staffing alignment including partner/subcontractor participation
3. Responsible for project risk management at proposal stage and throughout project, making plans to minimize risks
4. Responsible for all project planning and control including presales, quote, budget, schedule, customer satisfaction, ensuring successful execution to plan.
5. Ensure quality of deliverables via an agreed to quality assurance approach and by providing support to the project team.
6. Report status and issues regularly, identifying and diagnosing issues and needs, escalating as far as necessary to resolve in IFS, partner and customer organization.
7. Ensure all IFS processes and procedures are followed.
8. Influence the sales organization to assist in growing services revenue by supporting pre-sales activities and proposal responses
9. Participate in the staffing strategy for Australian team
10. Lead consultants to ensure achievement of business goals while maximizing client satisfaction with IFS products and services
11. Keep IFS relevant for the Customer Executive Team
Pre-Sales & Marketing:
12. Work together with pre-sales consultant and partners to assess overall risk of projects in presales stage and to make recommendation on approach of positioning and proposal
13. Lead and contribute on Pre-Sales proposal stage to align Customer Expectation and IFS offering, leverage IFS expertise strategically to gain Customer Trust
Internal Initiatives:
14. Coach and mentor fellow Consultants through detailed trainings and other informal channels
15. Lead and contribute on internal initiatives like designing and development of accelerators, templates or tools
16. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of existing IFS processes and methodology
17. Support and deliver Safe Guarding program to customer/partner to ensure they can achieve value expected from IFS solution deployment
Qualifications
Essential:
18. Proven track on managing mid to big size IT initiatives from either vendor, SI or customer perspective
19. An academic background with a Bachelor or Masters’ degree in engineering, Business or IT (or equivalent education or experience)
20. Experience delivering ERP/EAM/FSM/IT projects in a relevant industry setting, preferably in a similar role
21. Experiences in managing all levels of management in the customer organization to achieve project success
22. Experience and ability to help customers to prioritize business requirements to meet budget and timing constraint
23. Solid experience on domain functional expertise as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, MRO,Services Management and so on
24. Ability to articulate and explain technologies with business acumen
25. Strong understanding of Services business in Australia
26. Experience in a customer-facing role
27. Ability to travel nationally and internationally where required
28. Excellent communication skills
29. Fluent in English
30. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
31. Good organizational skills
Desirable:
32. Previous experience in consulting services
33. Solid knowledge of IFS products, or similar ERP/EAM/FSM main players solutions
34. Participation in implementation of IFS products
35. Specific industry knowledge from target industries (Manufacturing, Engineering and Construction, Energy, Utilities and Resources)
36. Formal Project Management training and certifications (such as Project Management Institute, Prince2, IPMA and so on)
37. Business Process Certifications, such as APICS, CPIM
38. Strategic Program Certifications, such as Six Sigma Black Belt
