Milestone IT is currently working with this brilliant global business who right now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing officer to join a great team.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Generate Purchase Orders in the System and send them to the
suppliers.
- Sending RFQ's (Request for Quotation) to the accredited
vendors and negotiate the price and lead time.
- Follow up Order Status to ensure efficient timelines
- Requesting payments from Accounts Payables and ensuring that
the PO and Invoices are matched.
- Maintain and conduct vendor assessments based on the
ISO13485 guidelines.
- Resolve any delivery discrepancies, generate RTV's (Return to
Vendor) for faulty or damaged goods asking for replacements
and requesting credit notes/memo for irreplaceable products.
**Skills we are looking for**:
- Must have worked as purchasing officer previously
- Good organizational and administration skill
- Ability to track and review previous orders and forecast accordingly
- Well presented, hardworking, and enjoys working in a Team
- Possess great written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well independently and productively within a small team environment.
