Clinical Audiologist Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team.

* Assess and diagnose client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests.
* Report assessment results in writing and make referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
* Recommend solutions for clients with hearing impairments, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices.
* Provide counseling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of overall treatment.
* Assist with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
* Provide treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age-related, part of a disability, or acquired due to injury or disease.


Requirements

* University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
* Full membership of AudA or ACAud and current QP number.
* Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
* Excellent levels of customer care and service.
* Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
* Proven ability to achieve KPIs.
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to continued professional development.
* Good team working skills.
* Ability to network with GPs and other allied health professionals.
* The right to live and work in Australia.
