**The Role**
As the Merchandise Assistant your responsibilities will be to support a team of three experienced Business Managers.
Responsibilities for the role:
- Calculating and benchmarking pricing of products
- Coordinating product allocations
- Price file system administration
- Setting up suppliers and products
- Catalogue and data integrity
- Intranet and product range administration
- Loading promotional pricing
**About You**
To be considered for this role, you willbe able to a demonstrate a record of achievement in a similar role preferably in an environment of transformation or major change. Ideally you will have a passion for automotive, if you're into your cars then Auto One is a great place to work. Alternatively, you may have gained experience in similar roles within the electrical, general merchandise, building products or hard goods industry. Your background will also include:
- Exposure in a support role to aspects of the merchandise function, including buying, sourcing, product development, promotional execution, supplier management and merchandise planning.
- Results driven, you are an effective communicator, able to demonstrate strong planning skills and initiative and above all, close attention to detail.
- Ideally you will have tertiary business qualifications and sound office PC skills.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
