Job Title: Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diverse month-end activities, such as reconciliations, journal posting, and adjustments for financial accuracy, ensuring the integrity of our financial statements.
* Support decision-making by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
* Maintain the general ledger with precise classification and accurate coding of P&L and Balance sheet items, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data, track budget variances, and assist in accurate and timely reporting, enabling data-driven decision making.
* Assist in the preparation of various tax returns, collaborating with the team and tax advisors for accurate and timely filing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Manage foreign currency translations, including conversions and adjustments for revaluations, minimizing financial risks and ensuring accuracy.
* Aid in the preparation of comprehensive cashflow statements, support treasury functions, and collaborate on financial reporting, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely information.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies, maintaining a high level of governance and risk management.
Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
* CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification, showcasing expertise and knowledge in accounting and finance.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering results and contributing to business growth.
* Experience using Oracle or another large ERP system is essential, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (high level proficiency), with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
