McCosker Contracting and Acciona are partnering with Sunwater and GHD to construct the Rookwood Weir. The Rookwood Weir is a landmark project that will capture valuable water in the lower Fitzroy River for use across the Central Queensland region. The project is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments and will provide water security for the Central Queensland region, boost the regional economy, create jobs during construction and develop and diversify industry and agriculture.

- Skills, experience & requirements:_
- Proven experience in the construction, building and maintenance industry
- Hold current and relevant tickets and qualifications relating to the position (desirable)
- Construction Card (White or Blue)
- Have a robust work ethic, be reliable and have a positive attitude willing to put up your hand to assist other departments/colleagues
- Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening
