Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop high-quality media statements, speeches, talking points, and key messages.
* Respond promptly to media enquiries, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
* Advise senior leaders on media and public relations matters affecting customers, stakeholders, and brand.
* Support communication during operational incidents and organisational issues.
* Translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
* Identify and coordinate proactive media opportunities.
* Maintain media records, compile analytics reports, and distribute coverage summaries.
Your Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in journalism, public relations, or a related field.
* Proven experience in media liaison, including generating coverage and managing enquiries.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex topics.
* Strategic media insight and a strong sense for newsworthy stories.
* Experience in incident or crisis communication.
* Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
