About The Role
Eureka Villages is seeking a dedicated daytime Chef to join our team at Gympie. This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, ensuring dietary requirements are met while maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals with consistency and adherence to recipes and standards.Managing kitchen operations including food preparation, stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure smooth service and a positive resident experience.
About You
Proven culinary experience, with the ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment.Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen equipment, supported by a Certificate in Commercial Cookery. A genuine passion for food, with creativity, attention to detail, and pride in presentation and flavour.Ability to satisfy pre-employment requirements, including a National Police History Check.
