Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate Diploma Room Leader to join the team at our Tallawong Centre. This is a hands on, on the floor role where you will lead a room, mentor educators, implement high quality programs, and support children’s growth, curiosity, and development.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support.
* Plan and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care.
* Build positive relationships with families and support open communication.
* Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service.
Qualifications and Skills
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
* Child Protection training/certificate
* Experience leading a room and mentoring educators
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
