About the Role
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team and provide quality care to participants in Pakenham, VIC. As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in assisting individuals to live independently while supporting their daily needs and goals.
Role Requirements
* Provide full personal care support, including:
o Toileting & continence care
o Dressing
o Bathing & hygiene assistance
* Support a non-verbal participant using AAC communication tools
* Manage and respond to behaviours of concern, including self-injury (head banging, biting hand, hitting self)
* Follow behaviour support plans and ensure safety at all times
Current Shift Schedule: TUESDAY 3:30PM-7:00PM
Experience Required
* Experience supporting high-support autism (Level 3 needs)
* Confident in complex behaviours of concern
* Skilled in full personal care duties
* Calm, patient, and able to work in high-intensity support situations
Requirements
* Previous experience in disability support or community care is preferred
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (preferred)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude

What We’re Looking For
* Experience in disability or aged care, or a related field
* Empathetic, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills
* Able to work autonomously and in a team
* Valid Driver's License & access to a reliable vehicle
* Current or willing to obtain:
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
