Your New Role:
In this 18‐month fixed‐term RF Engineer role you will provide specialist E3 expertise across HDA, ensuring the integrity and performance of EW and RF systems. You will develop E3 models, plan and execute test activities, and support certification within HDA's EMC Chamber at the Hanwha Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence (H‐ACE) and at Commonwealth test facilities.
Primary Responsibilities
* Support the development of HDA's RF Architecture and Earthing Architecture.
* Conduct antenna and RF design studies, including non‐ionising radiation hazard assessments.
* Plan, conduct and report E3 testing and modelling for HDA programs.
* Lead AV&V activities related to E3 and RF Engineering.
* Provide technical input into TEMPEST implementation.
* Oversee EMI/EMC compliance of subsystem integration.
* Support E3 capability across the systems engineering lifecycle.
* Maintain engineering artefacts, documentation and test reports.
* Report progress, risks, issues and priorities.
About You: Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Defence experience conducting and reporting E3 testing.
* Experience with RF test instruments (spectrum/network analysers).
* Knowledge of electromagnetic modelling (ideally CST Microwave Studio).
* Understanding of E3 and C4I system installation, integration and testing.
