Fusion Ceylon is seeking an experienced Pastry & Bakery Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong baking skills and a passion for quality desserts and baked goods.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
Assist with menu planning and new product development
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
Manage daily bakery production, prep, and stock rotation
Work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker (preferred)
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Understanding of Australian food safety standards
Food Safety Certificate (highly regarded)
